Human are related with communication whether you like it or not. It starts from the womb or even earlier than that (you know what I meant). The first communication between mother and child occurs when there is a feeling of reaction in the womb. It formed a mixture of both intrapersonal and dyadic/interpersonal communication, the mother feels the movement and joy of the baby, and she will talk happily to herself and her baby.
The good news will then spread through the family members which became small group communication, everyone else share the joy when they heard that the human population is growing. It didn’t end there. For the well known celebrities, their delivering of birth can lead to public and mass communication, the recent huge international news was Angelina Jolie gave birth to a beautiful pair of twins Knox, and Vivienne. The world was welcoming both of the twins at that time.
Other than that, from the moment of newborn baby delivered, he/she needs to cry as loud as he/she can, that is the physical health needs for the baby to communicate with the doctors that he/she are breathing. As long as the baby sticks with the human, he/she will fulfill the identity needs as a human. The baby will start to utter him/her first words which is “dada/papa” and “mama” in most cases. That showed the first identity of most human.
When the baby picked up more than 50 words, communication became his/her social needs. He/she can start to communicate with people and learn new things. Communication will later become practical needs for the growing child to express his/her exact meanings, feelings and thoughts.
I’m happy to learn that we all actually learned human communication since long before we born, haha~
